This past Friday I took my last Truth Be Told Art class before the Haiti trip. Elizbeth, the founder of Truth Be Told Art alerted me to this open class that she would actually be teaching. We had never met in person until just this past Friday, but I feel like I know her already. We've kept up quite a bit recently as I was trying to determine what supplies we would need in Haiti to have a painting lesson for the children. I'm hoping I've learned enough to instruct the children at the Cambry Orphanage when I go at the end of May. They will each get to paint and include scripture in Haitian Creole on their painting. This task before me is certainly one I never saw coming. I owe a huge thanks to my sister-in-law, Carolina, for placing this amazing opportunity on my radar!
Elizabeth is such a kind woman of God with a heart for ministering to others with her gifts. She has enabled thousands of women throughout middle Georgia to paint a piece of work that they can be proud of and gladly display God's word in their home. It is an incredible experience to create something you can be proud of after being dealt a blank canvas!
