Prayer & Share is a very special group of young women that was started about nine years ago. I joined it during my sophomore year at Berry College, and I truly wish I had found out it existed before then!
The group was founded by Mrs. Pamela Bissonnette, a woman who became my "spiritual Mom" while I was away at college. The group met every Monday and went over scripture together. After discussion the group had time for prayer requests and praise reports. All of the requests and praises were emailed out to everyone in the group, which was a huge blessing for those who were not able to attend every meeting. To this day young women at Berry College are blessed by Mrs. Pamela and this safe haven on campus. This group of young women was and is still an amazing force to be reckoned with.

Every February Prayer & Share had an annual womens' retreat to a cabin in the north Georgia mountains. It was an event I looked forward to every year during my college days. This past weekend I was honored to be the guest speaker at Prayer & Share's annual retreat. I got to see so many of my friends I had not seen in years and truly enjoyed my time in the mountains. This retreat was also extra special, because it was the first time my Mom got to attend retreat with me. I am so glad she was able to join me.
